FACIAL FEATURES

The operation is performed under local or general anesthesia. Incisions are placed behind the hairline above the ear. In some cases, incisions may be placed in front of the hairline. Improvements are made beneath the skin and on the deep muscles; the skin and muscle are then tightened to give a fresher, more youthful appearance.

You will be permitted to wash your hair shortly after the surgery. The stitches or skin clips will be removed a week or two after the operation.
